  • Answering the Divine Call: Rising Beyond Ordinary to Embrace the Extraordinary!

God calls us to rise above mediocrity and embrace a higher path, one that challenges the ordinary and transforms us into the extraordinary. Yet, despite this divine invitation, many choose to remain in the comfortable confines of the mundane. We have been gifted with free will, the power to choose whether we will ascend to greatness or settle for a life of complacency. Sadly, many reject the call to greatness, and in doing so, they miss out on the divine potential within them.

The ordinary can be depicted as a relationship between a master and students, where the teachings may or may not be carried forward. It is a cycle that can stall or fade away. Consider the story of Yin Hsi, the border guard who understood Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching. Yin Hsi’s profound understanding of the wisdom in the TTK allowed him to become the ruler of his own life, anticipating with certainty that Lao Tzu’s strategy would succeed. This foresight and mastery are not just ordinary—they are extraordinary.

What separates the ordinary from the extraordinary is the ability to see beyond the visible, to grasp the divine potential that resides within each of us. Reality, as we know it, is a continuously expanding universe. Our bodies, minds, and spirits are also expanding in ways that transcend what we once thought was possible. There has never been another version of you or me, and as we evolve, we encounter circumstances and situations that break us free from the constraints of normality. This, too, is the nature of existence: just as the universe continuously expands into new and unexplored territories, so too do we.

But to embrace this extraordinary life, we must understand that growth thrives in non-ordinary spaces. We cannot rely solely on the known, the familiar, or the comfortable. True mastery lies in stepping into the unknown, embracing the unfamiliar, and cultivating a mindset that welcomes challenges and opportunities for growth. When we do this, we align ourselves with God’s divine plan, stepping into the fullness of who we were meant to be.

This path is not without its struggles. There will be moments when we question whether we are on the right track, when doubt creeps in, or when the temptation to return to the ordinary is strong. But it is in these moments that our faith and our commitment to rise above mediocrity must carry us forward. We must remember that God has endowed us with the power of free will, and it is up to us to choose whether we will follow the path of ordinary or rise to embrace the extraordinary.

The difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary is not a matter of luck or circumstance—it is a matter of choice. By choosing to rise above mediocrity, we not only transform our own lives but also influence the world around us. We become leaders, creators, and visionaries, paving the way for others to follow in our footsteps. And in doing so, we fulfill the divine purpose that was set before us.

God calls us to rise, to reach beyond what is known, and to claim the extraordinary life that is waiting for us. Will you answer the call?

NOTE: This blog post was inspired by concepts explored in the course Sun Tzu’s Art of War Codified: Win from the start, which examines the strategic principles of Sun Tzu, Lao Tzu, and their application to achieving success in life.

  • BECOMING YOUR OWN LEGEND

If Denis Decker, Bruce Lee, Joe Lewis, Steven Seagal, Miyamoto Musashi, and Renzo Gracie Entered a Room, Who Exits?

Who exits? Perhaps the better question is: Does it matter?

Not to diminish their incredible contributions—each of these martial artists is a master in their own right. Denis Decker with his legendary  Chi Ling Pai®, Bruce Lee as the father of Jeet Kune Do, Joe Lewis with his powerful presence in full-contact karate and kickboxing, Steven Seagal with his aikido mastery, Miyamoto Musashi as the undefeated samurai and philosopher, and Renzo Gracie as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu icon and MMA trailblazer—all represent pinnacles of discipline, innovation, and mastery.

But focusing on who exits the room misses the point. The real question is: Who are you when you enter a room?

The True Lesson: Be Inspired, Not Idolized

It’s easy to get caught up in idol worship, glorifying the accomplishments of these martial arts giants as if their greatness somehow diminishes our own. Admiration is natural—but ask yourself, are you using their legacies as fuel to ignite your own greatness, or are you simply gazing at the pedestal they stand on, feeling smaller by comparison?

The stories of these legends are not meant to leave us in awe; they’re meant to light a fire in us. Their journey is a map, not a monument.

    Mastery Begins Within

    • Bruce Lee famously said, “Absorb what is useful, discard what is not, add what is uniquely your own.” This isn’t just a martial arts philosophy—it’s a life philosophy. Your potential lies in adapting, learning, and expressing your truth.
    • Miyamoto Musashi taught, “You must understand that there is more than one path to the top of the mountain.” His wisdom reminds us that there is no singular way to greatness. The path is yours to carve.
    • Renzo Gracie embodies the spirit of resilience and adaptability. With a mindset rooted in the Gracie family’s legacy, Renzo teaches us to embrace challenges, both on the mat and in life. His philosophy of “failing forward” is a powerful reminder that setbacks are just stepping stones to mastery.

    Action vs. Worship

Worshipping idols is easy; action is hard. True respect for these masters comes not from quoting them or mimicking their moves but by living their principles:

    • Dedication: Commit to a path of continuous improvement, just as they did.
    • Courage: Face your fears and challenge your limits.
    • Authenticity: Cultivate your unique talents and let your individuality shine.
    • Humility: Learn from every failure and every opponent, as Renzo Gracie exemplifies in his life and teachings.

    Who Exits? You Decide.

If these masters inspire you, take their lessons to heart. Practice like Bruce Lee, strategize like Miyamoto Musashi, create like Denis Decker, adapt like Renzo Gracie, and fight with the precision of Joe Lewis. But remember, they didn’t become legends by mimicking others—they became legends by becoming fully themselves.

The real battle isn’t about who exits the room; it’s about who you become when you enter one.

Stop asking, “Who exits?” and start asking, “Who am I becoming?”

  • Ignore the Naysayers: Unlock Your Potential and Embrace Your Greatness!

You are not confined by the perceptions of others. As a child of the Infinite, you possess latent powers waiting to be awakened—your abilities are limitless, and your potential knows no bounds.

There are always voices in the crowd that will try to bring you down. They’ll tell you to stop dreaming big, to lower your expectations, to accept mediocrity. You’ll hear them say things like, “Who do you think you are, working so hard? You’ll never be as great as the legends. They were born with special talents, but you’re just average. Accept it.”

But here’s the truth: the masters of every craft—whether in art, sport, business, or life—didn’t come to inspire us by setting a limit on what we can achieve. They came to show us what’s possible and to push us to strive for greatness. They didn’t set the bar to create a glass ceiling. Instead, they broke through it and showed us that greatness is attainable for anyone willing to put in the effort.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, a man who has achieved greatness in multiple fields, whether you love him or hate him, famously said, “Don’t listen to the naysayers.” This wisdom is invaluable, especially in today’s world, where negativity and doubt can seem overwhelming. Schwarzenegger doesn’t just ignore the critics—he doesn’t even let them into his head. He’s shared that he avoids reading negative comments or listening to social media naysayers, and he focuses solely on his goals.

And he’s right—the biggest naysayer often comes from within. The self-doubt, the inner critic that tries to convince you that you’re not capable, not worthy, or that you’ll never be as great as those who came before you. This internal voice is the real enemy. But if you ignore it and push forward, you’ll find that you have limitless potential.

So, what are the true limits of your potential? Are there truly boundaries on what you can achieve, or is it just that we haven’t yet reached the peak? I say let’s give it our all and find out. Let’s aim to become the greatest versions of ourselves during this lifetime. The masters who came before us are here to inspire us, not to keep us in a box. They broke through the barriers so we could keep breaking them down.

Consider this: what if one of Yip Man’s senior disciples told a young Bruce Lee, “Who the heck do you think you are?” From what I understand his senior classmates probably did say something like that to him. If Bruce had listened to these kind of discouraging remarks, we wouldn’t have his legendary movies, his revolutionary philosophy, or his creation of Jeet Kune Do. We wouldn’t have witnessed the birth of a martial arts legend who inspired millions worldwide. Bruce Lee’s greatness was not defined by the limitations others tried to impose on him, but by his refusal to accept them.

And the same can be said for anyone pursuing greatness. Every trailblazer faced naysayers—whether it was a family member, a friend, a colleague, or even a stranger. But the ones who achieve greatness are those who push forward regardless of the noise. They trust in their potential and keep working relentlessly toward their goals.

Even the greatest of all, Jesus Christ, inspired his followers with the reminder that “Ye are gods.” These words tell us that we are capable of more than we often believe. If we embrace our divinity, our potential, and the greatness within us, we can achieve things that go beyond what anyone has ever imagined.

The world is full of naysayers, but the world is also full of greatness waiting to be unlocked. Don’t let the negative voices define your path. Ignore them. Step into your power. Embrace your potential. Dream big. And most importantly, take action toward your dreams.

You are capable of achieving greatness. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”

Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

BOOM! Jesus wasn’t here just for the egotists who thought they had it all together; He came for the sinners, the broken, and the lost, offering them the chance for repentance and transformation, while still extending grace to all.

Anyone who tells you that you’re not worthy is mistaken. Jesus teaches that beneath the layers of illusion, God resides within every person. When you begin to identify with that Divine Consciousness, immense power awakens within you. So, ignore the naysayers and embrace your true nature.

Be victorious. Be unstoppable. Embrace your full potential, and show the world what you’re made of.

  • WHAT IS MODERN HO’OPONOPONO?

Modern Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian spiritual practice for self-cleansing and healing that emphasizes total responsibility for everything in one’s life, both personal and external. It teaches that the problems we perceive in the world are not separate from us but are reflections of unconscious memories, beliefs, programming, static, limitations, or data (karma) within us. The world is a mirror. By using specific cleaning techniques, we can erase these memories, return to a “zero state,” and open ourselves to divine inspiration.

The practice centers on repeating four key phrases (mantra): “I love you,” “I’m sorry,” “Please forgive me,” and “Thank you”. These phrases help clear negative emotions and memories, leading to inner peace and healing. The ultimate aim is to cleanse oneself continuously, allowing life to flow effortlessly without attachment to outcomes.

    Key principles include:

    • Personal Responsibility: Every issue, whether it involves you or others, stems from your internal memories (karma). You are responsible for healing those within yourself.
    • Cleaning Process: Cleansing involves erasing memories (referred to as data) that create suffering or block divine inspiration. The goal is to return to the “zero state,” a void where you can connect directly with Divinity.
    • Zero State: This is the ideal state of pure potential, where one is free of past conditioning and able to receive divine guidance or inspiration.
    • Inner Healing for Outer Change: By focusing on healing yourself, you can indirectly influence and heal others. This principle is powerfully illustrated in Dr. Hew Len’s work, where he helped severe mentally ill criminal patients recover by cleansing his own perceptions and memories related to them. In the same way, you can indirectly clear the external blockages in your life by addressing and healing what is within you.
    • Tools: Practical aids, such as blue solar water and CEEPORT® products, are used to assist in the cleaning process. These tools help erase memories and bring the practitioner closer to the zero state.
    • Continuous Cleaning: Modern Ho’oponopono advocates ongoing, daily cleaning to maintain peace, clarity, and connection with the divine. Life becomes effortless, or “wu wei,” when one lives in a state of continuous cleansing.

Modern Ho’oponopono, as updated by Dr. Hew Len and Dr. Joe Vitale, merges spiritual principles with practical tools for self-purification. Its application is versatile, addressing health, relationships, wealth, law of attraction, and overall well-being by continually cleansing the internal memories that shape external experiences. Through this practice, one seeks a life free of resistance, filled with divine inspiration, and lived in harmony with the universe.

Dr. Haleakalā Hew Len was a world-renowned Ho’oponopono master, spiritual healer, and Hawaiian psychologist who popularized Ho’oponopono famously applying it to heal criminally insane patients by focusing on healing himself. His story and approach were widely shared through the book Zero Limits, co-authored with Joe Vitale, which helped spread awareness of Ho’oponopono globally.

Dr. Vitale is a spiritual teacher and an influential figure, especially known for his role in the hit movie ‘The Secret’ and his contributions to the world of personal development.
