  • WHAT FEELS LIKE AN ATTACK BY DARKNESS IS ACTUALLY PURIFICATION—GOD’S FIRE BURNING OUT IMPURITIES AND DEEPENING YOUR DEVOTION

The Eternal Dharma (Gospel) is Martial Arts for the Soul

There are times in life when it feels as though shadows close in—when temptation, despair, confusion, and suffering seem to press against your soul. You may feel as if darkness itself is hunting you, trying to break your spirit and pull you away from God.

But what if it’s not the enemy at all?
What if it is God Himself—burning away what no longer belongs in you?

Like gold refined in fire, the soul must be purified through trial. Every pain, every doubt, every storm that shakes you is not meant to destroy you, but to reveal the unshakable part of you: your devotion to Him.

The question He whispers in these moments is simple, yet it strikes the deepest core of your being:

“Do you love Me? And if so, how much?”

This is the test. Not perfection. Not flawless behavior. Not worldly success.
    But love.

Do you love Him enough to trust His hand when it feels like fire?
Do you love Him enough to release the idols of this world—money, lust, intoxicants, pride, comfort, fleeting pleasure, and endless distractions—and cling to Him alone?
Do you love Him enough to say, “Though You slay me, yet will I trust You” (Job 13:15)?

    The Refining Fire

Darkness disguises itself as failure, suffering, shame, and weakness. But what is really happening is purification. The impurities of ego, fear, lust, anger, and pride rise to the surface under heat so they can be burned away.

This fire is not punishment—it is preparation.
It strips you of illusion and forces you to stand naked before God, with nothing left but your answer to His question:

    “Do you love Me?”

    The True Measure

God does not demand impossible perfection. He asks only that you repent when you stumble, correct your mistakes, and continually focus on Him and not on the things of this world.

Holiness is not the absence of flaws, but the relentless return to God.
Faith is not the absence of doubt, but choosing Him even in the doubt.
Devotion is not the absence of failure, but rising again with eyes fixed on the Eternal.

    The Call

Sri Gyanamata—Paramahansa Yogananda’s foremost woman disciple—was a radiant saint of wisdom and surrender, who embodied the highest ideals of divine love and union with God.

So when the shadows press in, do not be afraid. Do not curse the fire. See it for what it is: God’s love, disguised as burning.

He is preparing you. He is purifying you. He is deepening your devotion.
And He is waiting for your answer.

“Do you love Me? And if so, how much?”

Answer it rightly—not with words alone, but with your life.
    And you will save yourself.

  • THE DEATH OF BLAME: AWAKEN THE WARRIOR WITHIN AND TAKE BACK YOUR LIFE!

    “There are no others”Ramana Maharshi

There’s a seductive illusion in blame. It whispers, “It’s their fault.” It gives you a temporary high—like you’ve offloaded the weight of your problems onto someone else. But the truth? Blame is a poison disguised as power. It’s a weapon that always backfires.

In the real world—and in the warrior’s world—blame is weakness. And weakness gets you hurt, stuck, or forgotten.

If you want to rise—truly rise—you must cut blame at the root.

    1. Neville Goddard: I AM the Cause

Neville didn’t mince words. “Everyone is you pushed out.” The circumstances of your life, the people you meet, the pain and the pleasure—it’s all an out-picturing of your consciousness.

Blame others, and you surrender your divine creative power.

Own it, and the power returns to your grip.

You are not a victim of fate, but a maker of it.

Your thoughts, your assumptions, your inner conversations—they create your world. If you change them, the world must follow.

    2. Yogananda: Karma and Self-Responsibility

Paramahansa Yogananda taught that karma is not punishment—it’s education.

Life gives you what you put into it. Not always immediately. Not always obviously. But eventually, unmistakably.

You can’t escape the law of cause and effect. And that’s not a curse—it’s a gift.

Because it means that you hold the key to your liberation.

Take responsibility for your energy, your thoughts, your reactions, your actions, and your habits—and you begin rewriting the karma of lifetimes. No one is coming to save you. But the moment you stop waiting, you begin to save yourself.

    3. Ramana Maharshi: There Are No Others

When a disciple once complained about others treating him poorly, Ramana responded with piercing simplicity:
    “There are no others.”

The world, in truth, is one Self. When you fight others, blame others, judge others—you’re at war with yourself.

    So why does this matter?

Because until you dissolve the illusion of separateness, you’ll be stuck in reaction. Stuck in blame. Stuck in suffering.

But when you look within and realize the source of all drama, all disturbance, all desire is inside you—you reclaim the throne.

Get Busy: Your Destiny Doesn’t Wait

If you’ve been blaming your boss, your parents, your past, your ex, the economy, the algorithm—stop.

The truth is brutal and liberating:

No one is holding you back but you.

It’s time to get busy living. Not someday. Now.

Start small. Start scared. Start anyway.

Faith—real faith—is not passive. It’s not sitting in the lotus position hoping for a miracle. Faith is ferocious. It also means taking inspired action.
As the saying states, “God helps those who help themselves.”

Faith with daily action? That’s unstoppable. That moves mountains. That bends reality.

  • THE WARRIOR’S PATH: MUSHIN, MASTERY, AND THE WAY OF RAT SYNTHESIS™!

Had an interesting phone conversation tonight with someone curious about Mushin, my books, and the RAT Synthesis™ system. He asked me, “What is the path?”—referencing a Google review that said, “Stay on the path.”

The path is the way of the warrior—rooted in the tradition of the Japanese samurai, who blended Zen Buddhism and meditation to gain a decisive edge in both battle and life. I’ve studied Zen and Theravāda Buddhism myself, and later embraced the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.

Yogananda’s teaching helped me decode the deeper spiritual essence of martial arts. The path also contains Dharma or the Truth in life which leads to the discovery of your Higher Self also known as self-realization.

That’s what my book on Mushin is all about—cultivating stillness within motion and becoming the ultimate warrior, both in the dojo and in everyday life. Life becomes a form of living Vipassanā, a meditative awareness that sharpens your edge. This is where the path of the samurai ultimately leads.

At RAT Synthesis, we train both meditation and warriorship—fusing internal mastery with practical combat skills to give you the edge in every area of life. We also teach strategic domination—how to outthink, outmaneuver, and overcome. I also discussed the RAT Synthesis simple, adaptable and complete game plan that allows you to end street fights in seconds, not rounds.

The caller also asked about my physical stats—I’m 5’8″ and weigh around 175 lbs. He was concerned I might be overweight. So here I share a photo of myself at 57—living proof that the system works.

I train just 2.5 times a week and maintain peak performance across my entire strategic system.

No gym memberships. No machines. No ellipticals. No jogging. No steroids needed.

Just scientific street fighting, fused with a proven, science-based training methodology.

Honestly, I could be in even better shape—but nearing 60, my focus isn’t on obsessing over appearance. It’s about maintaining peak functionality and real-world performance.

  • The Tactical Mind: Awakening Power Through Meditation in Motion (MIM)!

“Perceive that which cannot be seen with the eye.”
    Miyamoto Musashi

    Why Practice Meditation in Motion?

In a chaotic world where distractions, stress, and reactive behavior dominate, Meditation in Motion (MIM) offers a path to inner and outer mastery and tactical clarity. This method trains you to stay centered, aware, and decisive—even under pressure.

By anchoring your awareness at the third eye and cultivating full-spectrum perception, you gain the power to respond strategically instead of reacting emotionally. Learn how to play chess and win in life.

Whether you’re a martial artist, entrepreneur, elite athlete, leader, or seeker on the spiritual path, this practice helps you sharpen intuition, remain calm under fire, and take impactful action in alignment with your higher purpose. It’s not just meditation—it’s transformation in motion.

    PROCESS:

    • Anchor your awareness at the third eye center: This engenders focus and clarity and allows you to connect with the universe. Paramahansa Yogananda taught that focusing on the spiritual eye—the point between the eyebrows—is a gateway to experiencing God.
    • Enter your calm center: calm, clear, meditative. Visualize a sphere of energy surrounding your body—moving with you as you flow through life. Objects and circumstances can approach your sphere from any angle.
    • Expand into wide-angle awareness: wide-angle vision. See everything, all at once.
    • PAUSE TECHNIQUE — Interrupt automatic reaction:
The moment you sense an impulse to react, stop immediately. Focus your awareness on the third eye and hold for a beat. You could also take a deep, slow breath—but when was the last time you were able to do that in the heat of battle? That’s why RAT Synthesis prioritizes third eye focus as the primary method. This micro-pause breaks the cycle of knee-jerk responses, opening a window to deliberate choice and clarity. This is your tactical reset.
    • Merge with the moment: Each moment is the entire universe. Use your intuition. This is your leverage. “Don’t think, FEELBruce Lee
    • Maintain inner detachment: Maintain 18 inches of inner distance. This space dissolves knee-jerk reactions. Never react—respond with mastery. “The only freedom we have is not to react” Robert Adams “In battle, if you make your opponent flinch, you have already won.”
      Musashi
    • Observe and choose wisely: See your options without emotion. Choose the one that creates the highest good—a win-win outcome.
    • Ask the right question: What is the most impactful move I can make right now to fulfill my mission or goal?
    • Always follow conscience: Always choose conscience over selfishness. At times, it may demand sacrifice—even blood. But this is the path of the spiritual warrior.

    Ready to Take It Further?

Meditation in Motion is the gateway—but MUSHIN: THE WARRIOR’S SECRET TO UNSTOPPABLE POWER is the master key.

If you’re serious about transcending fear, sharpening your intuition, and mastering your mind under pressure, Mushin takes you deeper. It distills the warrior’s path into a clear, powerful system you can apply quickly—in combat, business, or life.

This isn’t just knowledge. It’s a code for living with precision, presence, and unstoppable momentum.

  • THE DIVINE CODE: CONSCIOUSNESS, THE HOLY TRINITY, AND INDRA’S NET!

“We are made of the matrix of consciousness. All life was spumed out of the one Source of the river of consciousness.”

    — Paramahansa Yogananda

Some parts of this article are adapted from the talk Everything is Consciousness by Nayaswami Jyotish, linked below.

At the heart of all spiritual realization lies one profound truth: everything is consciousness. Before there were stars, galaxies, or even thought itself, there was consciousness—unbounded, unconditioned, divine awareness.

This consciousness is not merely a backdrop to existence; it is existence. It is both the observer and the observed, the dreamer and the dream.

This is the root of God.

🌌 Consciousness as the Root of God

God is not an external creator manipulating the cosmos from afar. Rather, God is pure consciousness, the essence and substratum of all things. As shared in a profound teaching:

All of existence is simply consciousness. Yet God, in divine play, veils this truth, making it seem otherwise. This illusion — this seeming separation — is known as maya.

In the grand illusion of maya, we perceive duality, division, and difference. But behind the veil of form and phenomena lies a single source — God as pure awareness, manifesting the universe by condensing that consciousness into various levels of reality.

🕊️ The Divine Architecture: Holy Trinity and the Three Worlds

God’s consciousness, when projected outward, gives rise to a divine architecture — a holy trinity that mirrors both Christian and Vedic teachings.

In Christian theology, the Holy Trinity is:

    • God the Father – The unmanifest Source, the Infinite Consciousness.
    • God the Holy Spirit (Divine Mother) – The creative vibration, Aum, the breath, the power that animates and sustains creation. God as the creation.
    • God the Son – The divine intelligence made manifest as a true Son or Daughter within the creation, the Christ Consciousness (Buddha consciousness, Krishna consciousness) that is dormant in most beings.

In Vedic cosmology, a strikingly similar structure exists:

    • Causal World – The realm of thought and pure ideation, the first condensation of consciousness
    • Astral World – The energetic world of light and vibration, the domain of subtle form and feeling
    • Physical World – The densest layer, where energy crystallizes into matter and form

    As taught by the Rishis:

God, as pure consciousness, begins creation by gently condensing His essence into thought — this gives rise to the causal realm. From there, to express creation in more tangible form, the astral world of energy emerges. Finally, this divine impulse crystallizes into the physical world, the realm of matter and the senses.

This isn’t merely theology; it’s a map of existence, showing how spirit becomes matter and how the many arise from the One.

💎 Indra’s Net: The Cosmic Weave of Divine Reflection

Enter Indra’s Net, a luminous vision from Hindu and Buddhist philosophy — perhaps the most poetic and comprehensive model of God’s immanence and transcendence.

Imagine a cosmic web of infinite jewels, stretching across all space and time. Each jewel reflects every other jewel. Every reflection contains the whole.

This is not a metaphor for egoic individuality — it’s a vision of divine multiplicity within unity:

    • Each individual consciousness contains the whole.
    • Every soul is God in microcosm, not separate from but essential to the whole.
    • Divine intelligence flows through everything, without diminishing individuality or unity.

Indra’s Net teaches that enlightenment is the realization that you are both the jewel and the net — a unique expression of God, yet indivisibly part of the All.

    As Christ said,

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower.” (John 15:1)

Each jewel is a grape on the vine, nourished by the same divine sap. Each reflection is Christ Consciousness mirrored through the many facets of creation.

    🧬 You Are the Architecture

You are not separate from this divine architecture — you are its essence. Your soul transcends all realms, expressing through the causal body in the realm of divine thought, flowing through the astral body of light and energy, and manifesting through the physical body in the world of action and form.

You are a jewel in Indra’s Net, eternally reflecting and being reflected.

And you are the child of the Holy Trinity, born of Infinite Consciousness, shaped by Divine Intelligence, and filled with the breath of Spirit.

✨ Conclusion: Realizing Your Divine Nature

    To awaken is to remember:

    • You are consciousness.
    • You are God’s thought in motion.
    • You are the reflection of the Infinite in a single radiant point.

Let your life be a conscious reflection of the divine. Recognize the net within the jewel. See God in all things, and all things in God. This is the highest realization. This is your true nature.

Live as the jewel. Love as the net. Shine as the light of consciousness.

  • The High Cost of Highs: Why Temperance is the Warrior’s Path.

“You may control a mad elephant; You may shut the mouth of the bear and the tiger; Ride the lion and play with the cobra; You may walk in water and live in fire; But control of the mind is better and more difficult.”

    – Paramahansa Yogananda

FOCUS IS POWER: ESCAPING THE FUGAZI OF MODERN DISTRACTIONS

Take away focus, and you take away power.

The powers that be want you numb, distracted, and incapable of deep focus.

“Governments don’t want a population capable of critical thinking, they want obedient workers, people just smart enough to run the machines and just dumb enough to passively accept their situation.” – George Carlin

I heard that Ajahn Chah once said that seven minutes of concentration would get you to Samadhi, a state of profound meditative absorption where the individual ego dissolves, and one experiences complete union with the divine or ultimate reality.  Love-bliss-wisdom.

Trapped in a cycle of distraction, stress, and emotional highs and lows, many seek escape through self-medication. Sex, Drugs, alcohol, excessive entertainment—anything to dull the underlying discomfort.

But all of these just weaken you further. They are illusions, just like the world itself. Fugazi (false, bogus, inauthentic). A mirage. A dream within a dream.

From THE HIDDEN TRUTH: HOW THEY TRAPPED YOUR SOUL – AND HOW TO BREAK FREE FOREVER! page 10

PRACTICING TEMPERANCE (SEX, DRUGS, WINE, AND MONEY).

Intoxicants are harmful to those on the path.  In the journey of spiritual evolution, true triumph doesn’t come from chasing fleeting pleasures, but from mastering ourselves in every facet of life. Our modern world bombards us with temptations, enticing us with immediate gratification in sex, drugs, and indulgence in wine, alongside the relentless pursuit of wealth.

Yet, within this flurry of sensory enticements, a profound reality unfolds: authentic fulfillment isn’t discovered in temporary highs, but in the bliss of meditation and inner contentment. Indulging in pursuits like sex, drugs, wine, and the relentless quest for wealth enfeebles the mind and signals to the Divine that we prioritize transient indulgences over a deeper connection with God.  Pursuing the delusions of the senses leads only to sensory saturation and disillusionment.

Many individuals find themselves trapped in cycles of suffering, seeking solace and escape through self-medication. Whether it be numbing the pain of existence with substances or seeking thrills to alleviate boredom, these behaviors stem from a fundamental disconnection from oneself and the world around them.

The temptation to seek a high, whether through substances or other avenues, often stems from a longing to transcend the mundane and briefly escape the burdens of reality. However, punitive measures like incarceration only perpetuate cycles of suffering and alienation.

Instead, we can look to successful models like those in Portugal and Europe, where a public health-focused approach addresses the root causes of addiction. By providing support and resources for individuals seeking to overcome their challenges, we can pave the way for lasting recovery and holistic well-being.

True liberation comes through education, meditation, spiritual practice, and the cultivation of inner strength.  By teaching individuals how to harness their innate capacity for inner contentment, self-discipline and righteous living, we empower them to break free from the shackles of desire and addiction.

Meditation, in its various forms, offers a path towards this liberation. Through the practice of mindfulness and introspection, individuals can learn to observe their thoughts and emotions without judgment, gaining insight into the root causes of their suffering.

In the stillness of meditation, one can discover a profound sense of peace and contentment that transcends the transient pleasures of the senses.  We discuss methods of achieving this later on in Chapter 6:  Overcoming the antagonistic mind and heart.

Ultimately, the art of victory in the realm of the soul lies in the cultivation of virtue and inner strength. By embracing temperance in all aspects of life – from our consumption habits to our relationships – we can unlock the true potential of our being and find lasting fulfillment in the journey towards self-mastery.

From RAT SYNTHESIS: SOUL RANGE: THE ART OF VICTORY: BECOME A DHARMIC WARRIOR p39

    SELF-MEDICATED SLAVERY VS. SPIRITUAL SOVEREIGNTY

Drugs and intoxicants—including alcohol and cannabis make your mind shallow and then you are not able to penetrate the deeper truths in life.

They interfere with your ability to perceive reality clearly. They dull the nervous system, which is the very instrument through which higher consciousness is experienced. When the nervous system is overstimulated or chemically altered, it becomes harder—not easier—to access intuitive insight, inner peace, and divine connection.

The temporary relief these substances offer comes at a long-term cost: weakened willpower, emotional instability, and spiritual confusion. Cannabis in particular promotes a kind of artificial detachment and pseudo-spirituality that mimics expanded awareness, but actually fragments the mind and clouds judgment. What seems like insight under the influence often dissolves under sober reflection.

As per karma, the universal law of cause and effect, actions that pull the consciousness downward—toward escapism and dullness—accumulate consequences that make future growth more difficult. Every time we turn to a substance to avoid discomfort, we’re reinforcing the habit of running from life rather than mastering it.

There is a better way. Yoga and meditation aren’t just relaxation techniques—they are precise tools for awakening the nervous system, strengthening the will, and aligning the mind with truth. They train you to face life’s challenges with calm clarity rather than avoidance. This is the path to true power and fulfillment.

The modern world pushes distraction, indulgence, and artificial highs. But this only keeps people disempowered and numb to their higher potential. The real revolution is in reclaiming your attention, your vitality, and your spiritual clarity.

    Don’t choose sedation. Choose self-mastery.

    Don’t self-medicate. Meditate.

Choose clarity. Choose strength. Choose the truth of who you really are.

  • Yoga is Not Just About Tying Yourself in a Pretzel: The Forgotten Meditation Aspect and Its Power in Warriorship

The Samurai warriors practiced Zen to gain an edge in battle, and at the heart of Zen lies yoga.

    Yoga Asanas

When most people think of yoga, images of contorted bodies twisted into pretzel-like poses often come to mind.

While the physical asanas (postures) of yoga have gained tremendous popularity, especially in the West, they represent only one aspect of this ancient practice.

What many overlook is the meditation and mental training that is deeply embedded within the roots of yoga, which not only offers spiritual enlightenment but also plays a pivotal role in the Art of War and the cultivation of true inner strength.

The Deeper Roots of Yoga: Meditation Over Asanas

Yoga has long been recognized as a path to spiritual awakening, but it’s crucial to understand that the physical postures are just the surface of a much deeper tradition.

At its core, yoga is about stilling the mind—calming the endless chatter that often clouds our perception and hinders our ability to act decisively.

This meditation aspect of yoga is far more powerful than just performing physical poses.

It’s about transcending the ego and achieving a state of deep awareness, where one’s true self is realized and one can access a state of inner peace that is not shaken by external circumstances.

In fact, this meditation aspect is so powerful that it became the foundation for other profound traditions, such as Chan Buddhism (which later evolved into Zen) in China.

The story of Bodhidharma, the enlightened Indian guru who traveled to China, is a testament to how meditation in the form of yoga helped shape not only spirituality but warrior philosophies too.

Bodhidharma (Dà Mó), the founder of Chan Buddhism and the key figure in elevating Shaolin Kung Fu.

Bodhidharma’s journey from India to China is legendary.

He arrived at the Shaolin Temple, where he established Chan Buddhism, a fusion of meditation and martial arts.

This blend of mindfulness, discipline, chi (pranayama), and physical training would lay the foundation for what became the Shaolin monks’ renowned martial arts expertise, later influencing countless warriors around the world.

This ancient tradition directly links yoga and meditation to the art of war, demonstrating that the true power of yoga lies not in the ability to perform physical poses but in the mental clarity, discipline, energization (chi), and fearlessness it fosters.

The meditation-based aspects of yoga create a “no-mind” state—where actions flow effortlessly, free from hesitation, and without the clutter of doubt or distraction.

This mental fortitude, honed through yoga and meditation, would become the edge in battle, just as it has in life.

    Lord Krishna instructing Arjuna

The Bhagavad Gita: A Battle Between the Mind and the Self

One of the most powerful texts that blends yoga, meditation, and warriorship is the Bhagavad Gita, the epic dialogue between Lord Krishna and the warrior prince Arjuna.

The Gita isn’t just a spiritual treatise; it’s an internal battlefield where Arjuna struggles with his mind, emotions, and sense of duty.

Through Krishna’s guidance, Arjuna learns to transcend his inner conflict and reach a state of clarity, allowing him to perform his duties without attachment or hesitation.

This is the essence of the yoga of action—Karma Yoga—where the practitioner performs their duty without attachment to outcomes, free from the limitations of fear, desire, or ego.

In this state, one is not swayed by external forces but remains anchored in the present moment, ready to take decisive action when necessary.

This same mental discipline is key for warriors, athletes, and anyone who seeks to live with unwavering focus and clarity.

The Warrior Caste and the Path of Zen

Yoga’s connection to warrior philosophy is not just confined to the spiritual practices of ancient India.

Buddha himself, who was born into the warrior caste, understood the discipline and mental training that warrior culture required.

Though his journey took him away from the battlefield, the underlying principles of warrior ethos—such as fearlessness, discipline, and acting in the moment—remain closely tied to the teachings of Buddhism and the path of meditation.

The Samurai of Japan, revered for their code of honor and exceptional skills, fully embraced Zen practice.

Through Zen meditation, they cultivated a deep mental focus, allowing them to enter battle without fear or hesitation, fully present and aware of every movement.

The Samurai’s Zen practice allowed them to move beyond themselves, acting as a vessel for the art of war.

The ultimate goal was to reach a state of “no-self” or “no-mind”, where the mind does not interfere with action and one acts purely out of intuition and experience.

No Mind, No Self: The Power of Yoga in Life and Battle

The concept of “no-mind” (or “mushin”) is integral to both Zen and yoga, and it is perhaps one of the most powerful aspects of the practice.

When we let go of the ego and the constant chatter of the mind, we open up to a state of pure presence, where our actions are aligned with the flow of life.

This state of non-attachment is essential not only in meditation but also in battle, business, sports, and every area of life that demands focused action.

In yoga, this concept is cultivated through deep meditation and mindful breathing, allowing the practitioner to reach a state where actions are effortless, clear, and precise.

The “no-self” principle helps us overcome the limitations of the ego and the fear that often holds us back in life.

Whether in war or in daily struggles, this mental discipline gives you the edge—the ability to act without hesitation, free from distractions, and aligned with your highest purpose.

Yoga: More Than Just Feel-Good Poses

So, the next time you think of yoga, remember: it’s not just about tying yourself in pretzel-like shapes or doing trendy stretches.

At its core, yoga is about transcending the physical, finding inner peace, and cultivating the mental strength to face any challenge—be it on the battlefield or in the daily struggles of life.

The meditation practices of yoga, developed over millennia, are the key to unlocking the true power within you.

Just as the great warriors of history relied on the mental clarity and fearlessness gained through meditation and yoga, so too can we all benefit from its profound teachings.

Yoga, when practiced in its fullest sense, is not just a physical exercise; it is a way to elevate your warriorship, to act with precision, and to live without fear or limitation.

    Final Thoughts

Yoga is not just about the body.

It is the way to train your mind, to enter a state of no-mind, and to cultivate the clarity and fearlessness necessary to face life’s battles—whether physical, mental, or spiritual.

Just as the ancient warriors did, we too can embrace the meditation aspect of yoga and unlock the deeper power that lies within us all.

    Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

    BE CALMLY ACTIVE

    AND ACTIVELY CALM

In short, don’t think all the time of just making money. Exercise, read, meditate, love God, and act peacefully, at all times. Learn to be calmly active and actively calm, carrying into your daily activities the calmness gained in the spiritual activity of meditation.

In the Gita, Bhagwan Krishna teaches: “Remaining immersed in yoga, perform all actions, forsaking attachment (to their fruits). Remain indifferent to success and failure (while performing all actions). The mental evenness during all states of activities (resulting in success or failure) is termed yoga.

    MANS ETERNAL QUEST

    Chapter 47 page 402

  • Breaking Free from the Dream: The Illusion of Forces and the Reality of One Consciousness

“My heart was still not comforted. The divine voice went on: “Creation is light and shadow both, else no picture is possible. The good and evil of maya must ever alternate in supremacy.

If joy were ceaseless here in this world, would man ever seek another? Without suffering he scarcely cares to recall that he has forsaken his eternal home. Pain is a prod to remembrance. The way of escape is through wisdom!

The tragedy of death is unreal; those who shudder at it are like an ignorant actor who dies of fright on the stage when nothing more is fired at him than a blank cartridge. My sons are the children of light; they will not sleep forever in delusion.”

Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda

A friend recently shared a compelling perspective on the nature of reality, stating that there are only two forces in the cosmos: attraction and repulsion—the fundamental principles of electromagnetism.

According to this view, these forces govern everything, from the smallest subatomic particles to the vast cosmic dance of galaxies. And within the matrix of the dream—our perceived reality—this seems entirely true.

The universe appears to be structured upon these dual forces, mirroring the yin-yang-Tao dynamic of existence.

Yet, when we step beyond the framework of the dream, we encounter a deeper truth: everything is a dream.

The Cosmic Illusion: Consciousness in Disguise

If all of reality is a dream, then what we perceive as electromagnetic forces, physical objects, natural laws, and even the experience of time itself are simply constructs within this grand illusion.

Consciousness, in its infinite creativity, pretends to be forces, matter, and phenomena. It manifests as the laws of gravity, Newton’s principles of motion, the laws of thermodynamics—all forming the rules that govern our experience of reality.

But why must this dream be so consistent? Because if it weren’t, we would see through it too easily. Imagine a nighttime dream where the laws of physics suddenly break down, and you realize you’re dreaming. That moment of realization—lucidity—often leads to awakening.

In the same way, if our waking life dream didn’t feel real, if it didn’t follow a structured, repeatable set of laws, we would quickly become suspicious. The pain, the pleasure, the struggles, and the beauty of life serve as reinforcement, keeping us immersed in the illusion.

The Purpose of the Dream: Divine Love

But if this is all an illusion, what is its purpose? The answer is simple: to awaken to Divine Love. Life is a love story.

The dream is not meaningless. It is the ultimate training ground, a divine classroom designed to guide us toward transcendence. Within the matrix of the senses, we experience the full spectrum of duality—love and fear, joy and suffering, gain and loss—until we finally see beyond it all.

The end game is realizing that we were never separate to begin with. The forces of attraction and repulsion, the yin and yang, are merely the dance of the One (Tao) pretending to be two.

Escaping the Matrix: The Path to Reality

To break free from the program, we must turn inward. The way out is not through rebellion against the dream but through awakening within it. This is the essence of all great spiritual traditions—Yoga, mystical Christianity, Taoism, Buddhism, and others. They provide the means to dissolve the illusion of separation and return to the One Consciousness.

    Practical Steps to Awakening:

    1. Meditation – Silence the mind and go beyond thought. See reality as it truly is.
    2. Pranayama (Breathwork) – Shift your energetic state and transcend the illusion of physicality.
    3. Self-Inquiry – Ask, Who am I? Strip away all false identities until only pure awareness remains.
    4. Living Presence – Be fully here, now. Reality is not in the past or future—it is always now.
    5. Love and Service – Embody the highest vibration, which is Divine Love itself.

The dream is persistent, but it is not absolute. The moment you awaken, you see through the illusion. And when enough of us awaken, the very nature of the dream changes.

The One Consciousness has always been here, waiting for us to remember.

    Now is the time.

Are you ready to wake up?

  • Breaking Free from Illusions: The Problem, the Solution, and the Path to Liberation!

    “Know thyself”

Ancient Greek aphorism inscribed at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi (circa 6th century BCE)

In today’s world, we are often caught in a whirlwind of illusions. The problem lies in the way our minds are deluded by false thinking, creating a life that feels distant from peace, contentment, and true fulfillment.

Society, corporations, politics, our families, and the ever-present media reinforce these misconceptions. Many corporations fuel this narrative by convincing us that happiness can be purchased through material possessions, while politicians perpetuate the illusion of external change and fulfillment to secure donations and support.

We’re led to believe that happiness and contentment are somewhere out there—beyond ourselves—and can only be attained through external possessions, achievements, reconstructions, or status.

The greatest deception, however, is the belief in our own separation. We have been conditioned to think of ourselves as individual entities, isolated and pitted against the world in a constant battle.

This belief in separation breeds fear, anxiety, and a sense of hostility. We see the world as a place full of competition, negativity, and scarcity—constantly struggling to survive.

Yet, the world is not always hostile. It is a mixture of light and dark (yin and yang), positive and negative, joy and sorrow. Like sugar mixed with sand, we must learn to sift through life’s challenges, keeping the sweetness and leaving behind the bitterness.

The Problem: The Delusion of Separation

“The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist”—Charles Baudelaire.

“The second greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he is the good guy”—Ken Ammi.

Our minds are clouded by false thinking, led astray by the fleeting promises of fulfillment offered by the senses—pleasures like excessive sex, wine, drugs, money, and material possessions. These temporary distractions keep us chasing after external gratification, but they never provide lasting contentment.

This false reality, known as Maya, is perpetuated by an external, satanic consciousness that reinforces the illusion that happiness and fulfillment lie outside of ourselves.

The world, obsessed with materialism, fame, and power, only deepens this delusion, telling us that true contentment is something we must acquire, achieve, or possess—whether it’s through career success, societal approval, or the next big purchase.

But the truth is that fulfillment doesn’t lie in the external world. It lies within us, in the stillness of the mind and the peace we cultivate through spiritual practice.  “The kingdom of God is within you” – Jesus

This false thinking leads us to perceive the world as completely hostile—like a constant battleground. We’re convinced that we must constantly struggle against others, society, and circumstances to attain happiness. While it’s true that life contains war, it’s not the only reality; life is more nuanced and multifaceted. This belief isolates us further from the truth: that true contentment and peace lie within.

    The Solution: Expanding Our Consciousness

The solution to this delusion is profound, yet simple: it is about expanding our consciousness and returning to our true nature. To do this, we must step away from the false narrative of separation and reconnect with the divine essence within ourselves.

One of the most powerful tools for expanding consciousness is meditation. By quieting the mind, we can begin to recognize the inner peace that has always been present. Practices such as Kriya Yoga, a spiritual path taught by great masters like Paramahansa Yogananda, can help purify the mind, elevate our consciousness, and bring us closer to our true selves. Kriya Yoga is not just a practice but a path to self-realization—the recognition that we are not separate, but one with the divine.

Alongside meditation, we can practice the Law of Attraction, which teaches that the energy we put into the world will return to us. By choosing to focus on positive thoughts, emotions, and actions, we align ourselves with higher frequencies of love, abundance, and peace. This practice helps us see that contentment is not something we must seek outside of ourselves, but something we can create from within.

Another key element of the solution lies in adopting a philosophy of Plain Living and High Thinking, as taught by Yogananda. This approach emphasizes:

    • Simplicity: Avoiding material excess, practicing moderation, and living with minimal distractions.
    • Elevated Thinking: Focusing on God, self-realization, and service to others.
    • Balance: Engaging in work and responsibilities while maintaining a spiritual focus.
    • Meditation: Using practices like Kriya Yoga to purify the mind and elevate consciousness.
    • Harmony: Living sustainably, cultivating virtues, and fostering positive relationships.

By living simply, we can enjoy the little pleasures of life—the taste of food, the beauty of nature, the joy of deep connection with others—without the need for constant external validation or material gain. Inner peace comes from within, and by focusing on the small things, we unlock a more profound sense of fulfillment.

  • The Power of Focus: Master Your Thoughts, Your Chi, and Your Destiny!

“Your imagination is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”

    – Albert Einstein

Thoughts are like waves—constantly appearing and disappearing, seemingly out of our control. But what if I told you that it’s not the thoughts themselves that matter, but what you choose to focus on? What if you had the power to align your focus with a reality that perfectly fits your desires?

You see, the universe, or rather, the multiverse, is an ever-expanding sea of infinite possibilities. Every conceivable—and inconceivable—path already exists. All these paths have been created, preordained, waiting for you to tune into them. Your thoughts, your focus, are the key to navigating this vast ocean of potential. They determine which alternate timeline you resonate with and, ultimately, which reality you experience.

As Jesus said, “In my Father’s house are many mansions.” This ancient wisdom reminds us that there is no shortage of possibilities. The universe is abundant, and each possibility is as real as the next. We are not slaves to a singular destiny. We have the power to choose which mansion—i.e., which reality—we want to inhabit.

In the same vein, Neville Goddard once said, You aren’t called upon to make the things. All things already are. The whole, vast creation is already finished; I am only becoming aware of it. Any state that I can imagine can be occupied. The whole thing is finished, and all I do is adjust to it and “feel” myself there until it becomes natural.

This powerful statement reveals a profound truth: everything is already done. The universe’s blueprint is already mapped out. We are simply moving through it, navigating our path through the predetermined matrix of infinite possibilities. But here’s where it gets exciting: even though the matrix is infinite, you still have the choice to determine which timeline, which version of yourself, you want to experience.

In my view, Ramana Maharshi’s profound statement, “What has to happen will happen,” encapsulates a deeper truth. Our thoughts and energy shape our reality, and since these patterns often remain unchanged in our minds, we tend to relive the same experiences repeatedly. However, this doesn’t imply a rigid fate. Instead, all possibilities coexist simultaneously, and through focused intention, we can select the path we embark upon. Ultimately, the choice is ours.

The Power of Focus: Emitting Your Chi Energy

The key to unlocking this power lies in what you choose to focus on. Your thoughts are not just random flutters in your mind—they are powerful signals of energy that you send out into the universe. When you focus on a particular thought, you are emitting a signal of chi—life force energy—into the cosmos. Your brain acts like a transmitter and receiver, continuously sending and receiving signals, much like a cell phone.

The great yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda, said that thoughts are not isolated, individual experiences; rather, they are universal. Carl Jung, the famous Swiss psychiatrist, explored the idea of the collective unconscious, suggesting that all human beings are connected to a deeper universal field of knowledge.

And the visionary physicist, David Bohm, proposed the concept of an implicate order, a deeply interconnected universe where everything is holographically linked. The brain, according to Bohm, could be seen as a receiver for this deeper, unseen information from the universe.

This means that it is not you thinking your thoughts; it is God, or the universe, thinking them through you. Your focus tunes you into a specific wavelength, allowing you to receive and transmit the energy of particular thoughts. That’s why inventions like the radio came to both Marconi and Tesla at the same time—they were both tuning into the same frequency of thought. The energy was there, waiting to be received. The thought simply found the one who was ready to tune into it.

    Your Thoughts Attract Your Reality

Now, here’s where the magic happens: once you begin emitting your chi energy through your focused thoughts, this energy radiates out and attracts people, circumstances, ideas, and opportunities that match your frequency. Think of it as a tuning fork—your focused thoughts set the vibration, and the universe responds in kind. When you combine thought with pranayama or qigong practices, along with your belief and willpower, you amplify its magnetic power of attraction.

Your imagination is a powerful tool for shaping this energy and creating energy constructs. When you visualize your desires and consciously program your chi energy, it works tirelessly on your behalf, even when you’re not actively thinking about it. Like an automatic machine, your chi energy continues to align circumstances with your intentions, bringing them into your reality over time. The more you control your focus, the more effortlessly your desired reality will manifest.

This is the essence of the teachings of spiritual masters like Jesus and Yogananda. They understood that we are not separate from the universe; we are intricately woven into it. Our thoughts and our energy are powerful tools for shaping our reality. And when we align with higher frequencies—love, peace, abundance—our external world begins to reflect those vibrations.

Master Your Thoughts. Master Your Chi. Master Your Destiny.

The most profound realization you can have is this: you are the creator of your own reality. Your thoughts, energy, and focus are not passive—they are active, creative forces. Through your mind, you can direct the flow of energy and align yourself with the infinite possibilities of the universe.

This isn’t just theory. This is a way of life. The wisdom of the ages, from Jesus to Yogananda, shows us that when we understand and harness the power of our thoughts and chi, we unlock the power to transform our reality.
